About Size:

The sizes that are listed on the treadmill drop menus are usable track dimensions (usable Length). The overall length of the mill will be 15" longer than this measurement.


The usable length on the Dog Trotter is the actual length of the track rail (Not the overall length of the mill.) There is 7.5" of non usable track area on each end of the mill directly over the 6" aluminum rollers. Do not let your dogs feet fall outside of the usable area.

How to choose the proper size.
When your dog is standing straight up on all fours take a measurement between the front and back legs (A). Add to this measurement the length of the front leg from the ground to the shoulder (Top of shoulder blade) (B). Choose a treadmill with a usable length of at least this long.





Track width only needs to be 3" wider than your dogs breast.
